Larson Engineering is an industry leading engineering firm that is experiencing dynamic growth in our business and workforce. We are looking for a self-motivated individual that can fill the role of Corporate HR Director along with leading the Employee Ownership Community Team (EOCT), which is focused on creating an ownership culture through employee engagement, education and communication. We have over 200 employees across 13 offices, and are seeking someone with the confidence and experience to develop best practices, bring consistency, and ensure compliance across our firm's locations.

 

Description

The leader in this position will be expected to work approximately 24 hours a week. We need a proactive advisor and coach to guide our regional managers on all matters related to employee relations, recruiting and hiring, workforce planning, benefits administration, performance management, compensation, employee engagement and retention. The successful candidate must also be able to lead and project manage the activities of the EOCT. The HR Director will possess a strong business mindset and exceptional partnership skills to develop strategies for our innovative, diverse, and growing organization. Our ideal candidate will be a key partner in helping us shape both the HR and employee ownership practices that will carry us into the future.

 

 Qualifications 

  • B.S. in Human Resources or related degree
  • 8 years minimum experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management experience
  • HR certification preferred
  • Experience working in an employee-owned company is a plus
